Jubilee Year: St. Francis’ Work Isn’t Finished Yet
October 20, 2026
Leaders across FMOL Health reflect on the Year of St. Francis Jubilee and the opportunity it gives us to renew our commitment to living the Gospel through joy, simplicity, compassion, and service.
In 2026, we mark 800 years since the passing of St. Francis of Assisi. This special Jubilee year invites us to reflect on his life and the ways we can continue his work in our own lives and communities.
FranU is a place of pilgrimage during this Jubilee year. Visitors can come to La Verna Chapel in St. Francis Hall and, under the conditions established by the Church, receive a plenary indulgence.
The Jubilee is a reminder that the Franciscan spirit is not simply something we remember. It is something we are called to live.
