    FranU Receives $50K Grant from Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation to Develop Applied Behavior Analysis Certification Program

    FranU has been awarded a $50,000 grant from the Huey and Angelina Wilson Foundation to fund the start-up of a new certification program in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This program is aimed at students interested in providing therapeutic support for patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD) within community health and education settings. ABA coursework and practical experiences will prepare students for Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) credentialing. The ABA curriculum may be taken as an elective option for FranU students majoring in psychology, providing an exceptional opportunity to enter the workforce immediately after graduation. This gift further substantiates the University's commitment towards responding to healthcare workforce needs of our state and our community, particularly for populations in greatest need.

    Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University Physical Therapy Doctorate Awarded Accreditation Candidacy

    The Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) has granted candidacy for accreditation to the new doctor of physical therapy (DPT) program at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (FranU).

    In the late spring of 2018, CAPTE, the sole accrediting body for physical therapy professional education programs, authorized FranU to admit qualified candidates into the program. The first cohort will begin this fall.

    Spring 2018 Radiologic Technology graduates earn a 100 percent pass rate

    Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University is pleased to announce its Spring 2018 Radiologic Technology graduates earned a 100 percent pass rate on the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Certification Exam.

    All 18 of the May 2018 graduates passed the exam on their first attempt.
