The purpose of this course is twofold. First, it introduces the student to the plurality of moral systems impacting bioethical decisions with a special emphasis on the teachings of the Catholic Church and natural law. Second, it give students an overview of ethical issues typical in the healthcare field. The ethical issues follow the life span and end with institutional questions.
