The Career Services Department conducts a Job Fair in the Fall and Spring semesters. We invite local, in-state, and out-of-state companies on campus to talk to students about employment opportunities. This enables the students to make contact with many different companies, talk to their recruiters and hiring personnel and hand out resumes all in one central location on campus.
The Franciscan University Library has career resources both online and in print. For online resources, there is the Learning Express Library that has a section called “Career Center” which includes information on careers, practice tests, job search assistance, interview skills, and more!
To access this resource, please visit the Franciscan University portal- Connect to the Library Database icon (blue cylinder in jump pad)- then under “Other Resources”, click on “Learning Express Library”.
There are also eBooks and hardcover books covering career topics within the library- please feel free to ask a librarian for assistance in locating these resources.
Career Services records are held in strictest confidence and are NOT a part of any other college records.
